Ccs Turns Back Nic

Community Colleges of Spokane came back after an opening game loss to defeat host North Idaho College Tuesday night in women’s volleyball.

North Idaho won the first game 15-10, but CCS won the next three 15-13, 15-10 and 15-10.

CCS was led by Shannon Nelson’s 23 kills, Joene Heimbigner’s 50 assists and Kristina McAuley’s 18 digs. Eileen Daniels had four blocks for CCS.

NIC was led by Jen Clark’s nine kills, Melissa Nardinger’s 36 assists and Ali Gargus’ 27 digs. Jessica Waltz had 14 blocks.
