The marriage of Shawna Gibson to John Knighten was solemnized in an Aug. 15 ceremony at Gretna Green.

Roger and Linda Messerschmidt, Spokane, and Jerry Burrow, Otis Orchards, are parents of the bride. Knighten is the son of Sally Knighten, Ephrata, Wash.

A reception followed at the wedding site. The couple are living in Spokane after a honeymoon in Lincoln City, Ore.
