Hints From Heloise

King Features Syndicate

Dear Heloise: I use baby oil to remove the following:

car grease from my hands

adhesive residue left by price tags on plastic items

adhesive on scissors after cutting duct tape

fresh paint from my skin

roofing tar from my hands. - Robert Miller, El Dorado, Kan.

Dear Heloise: I needed a lid for my 12-inch frying pan. The ones in the stores were $13 and very hard to find, so I made my own. I bought a pizza pan, put a knob on it and had my lid. The pizza pan cost $2.50 and I had a knob, so it cost me $2.50. - Bob Adams, Philipsburg, Pa. xxxx
