Dear Heloise: I remember reading something in your column about the president sending a greeting card to a couple celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary.

Since this event is on the horizon for my parents, I wanted the information about how to receive the card. Could you please reprint this information for me? Thanking you in advance. K.L., Dallas

The Greeting Office at the White House will send a card to anyone celebrating their 80th birthday (or over) and to couples who have been married 50 or more years. The address is:

Greeting Office, The White House, Washington, DC 20500. Send your request at least six weeks or more in advance, along with the complete name(s).
