Kootenai Deputy Prosecutor Is Top Juvenile Administrator

Kootenai County Deputy Prosecutor Barry Black recently was named the state’s top juvenile administrator.

Black was selected for the annual award by county prosecutors, juvenile probation officers and juvenile justice administrators from across the state, said Kootenai County Prosecutor Bill Douglas.

The award is given to the person who best exemplifies dedication and commitment and has sought innovation and creativity in the area of juvenile justice, Douglas said.

Black was presented with the award at the state Juvenile Justice Association banquet earlier this month.
