Albert Lawyers Warned

The prosecutor in Marv Albert’s sex trial threatened to reveal more unflattering details of the sportscaster’s sex life if his attorneys try to “put a halo on this man” at his sentencing.

Lurid allegations of Albert’s sexual peccadilloes - including his fondness for women’s underwear and threesomes - drove the 56-year-old announcer to bring an abrupt halt to his assault and sodomy trial last month.

Prosecutors could call witnesses to testify about “prior bad acts” by Albert, said Arlington County Commonwealth’s Attorney Richard Trodden. But Trodden said he would do so only if Albert’s lawyers force his hand.
