Join The Fun At Gu’s Midnight Madness
The focus is on fun not hoops at the annual Gonzaga University Midnight Madness celebration at Martin Centre.
The event begins at 7 p.m. tonight with a volleyball game between the GU women’s team and 12th-ranked Pepperdine University. It ends after midnight with the GU men’s and women’s basketball teams engaging in a three-point shooting contest and a men’s slam-dunk competition.
Throughout the evening, though, fans can participate in human bowling, bouncy boxing, fast-track cars and goldfish racing. The GU Pep Band and cheerleaders perform at 11:30 followed by showings of the highlight videos from the men’s and women’s teams.
Admission to the volleyball game is $5, $3 for students, free for GU students; after the game’s over, admission to all other events is free. , DataTimes
