Dear Heloise: I have trouble remembering to pick up my clothes from the cleaners and misplacing my receipt for the clothes. Now I attach the receipt to my car visor, and as I look up at the window, I remember to pick up my clothes. No more forgotten clothes! M. Cantu, San Antonio

Tall, cylinder-shape potato chip cans are great to store food or nonfood items. Here are just a few hints:

Use to store spaghetti.

Store crochet hooks or other sewing accessories.

Keep small paint brushes in one.

Store plastic utensils and condiments for travel.

Store individual sleeves of crackers in them to keep crackers from getting stale.
