Churches Present Concerts, Fairs
St. Paul’s United Methodist Church, 1620 N. Monroe, will host the annual St. David’s Welsh Society Hymn Sing Sunday at 2:30 p.m. All church choirs and anyone else interested in singing are invited to participate.
Those who don’t want to sing are invited to come and listen.

Free play performed Friday
Hillyard Baptist Church, 2121 E. Wabash, will present a performance by Filling the Gap ministries, a group that travels the country performing dramas. “Home Again,” an inspirational family musical drama, will be performed at 7 p.m. Friday. The performance is free.
Captive Free perform Sunday
Captive Free, a group of young adults who travel throughout the Northwest and Canada, will perform at the 8:45 and 11 a.m. worship services Sunday at Our Savior’s Lutheran Church, 302 W. Augusta. The group is sponsored by Youth Encounter, an evangelical, Christian organization.
The public is invited to attend. Donations will be accepted to help cover the group’s expenses.
Bazaar to benefit missions
Whitworth Community Presbyterian Church, 312 W. Hawthorne Road, will hold its fall fiesta of arts and crafts from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday. Refreshments will be served. All proceeds will benefit the missions of the church.
Audubon United Methodist festival
Audubon Park United Methodist Church, 3908 N. Driscoll Blvd., will host its annual fall festival on Sunday. The evening will begin with a potluck at 5:30 p.m. People with a last name beginning with the letters A-K are asked to bring a main dish and a dessert or bread; L-Z bring a main dish and a salad. Beverages will be provided but table service will not.
A costume contest will begin at 6:30 p.m. Fun activities will be held from 7 to 8 p.m.
Admission to the festival is one bag of trick or treat candy per family. For more information, call the church office at 325-4541.
More parties for kids
Youth of all ages are invited to attend Emmanuel Presbyterian Church’s fourth annual fall party Sunday from 6 to 8 p.m. Party attendees are invited to create a farm or barnyard costume, such as a goat, pumpkin or bale of hay. For more information, call the church office at 326-1252.
North Hill Christian Church, 4620 N. Post, will host a Halloween party from 6 to 8 p.m. on Sunday. The community is invited to attend. For more information, call the church office at 326-5400.
Craft fair at Mary Queen
Mary Queen Catholic Church will host a craft fair this weekend. The fair will run from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday and from noon to 5 p.m. on Sunday. The church is located at 3423 E. Carlisle.
