Favorite book: None.

Greatest accomplishment: Working with private citizens to form the water district in 1986.

Biggest regret: No regrets.

Person he most admires: His wife of 53 years, because she’s fun to be with and puts up with him.

What he would change: He would like to have the water district, purchased in 1986, paid off by 2004. At that time, he hopes to cut water rates by 20 to 40 percent.
