LaMar Jensen Boise
Graveside service for LaMar Arnold Jensen, a former Spokane resident, will be at 11:30 a.m. today at Wayside Cemetery in Boise. Relyea Funeral Chapel in Boise is in charge of the arrangements.
Mr. Jensen, who was born in Kimball, Alberta, died Sunday. He was 85.
He moved to Spokane from Canada in the late 1920s.
Mr. Jensen served in the Army Air Corps in New Guinea during World War II.
Mr. Jensen, with his father and brother, operated the Maple Leaf Dairy.
He also worked as a local delivery truck driver for Graybar Electric in Spokane and was later employed as a custodian for the Spokane School District.
Mr. Jensen was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and was a full-time missionary in Columbia, S.C., from January 1980 to June 1981.
He moved to Boise about 10 years ago.
His first wife, Theo, died in 1961. His second wife, Juanita, died in 1984.
Survivors include two daughters, Eileen Berger of Rancho Cordova, Calif., and Marla Allen of Boise; two sons, Gary Jensen of Riverside, Calif., and Arnold Jensen of St. Louis; a sister, Adeline Thompson and a brother, Vernal Jensen, both of Spokane; 25 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.
Marvin Zachow Cheney
Memorial service for Marvin L. Zachow, 69, will be at 1:30 p.m. Sunday at Finch Arboretum. The Cremation Society of Washington is in charge of the arrangements and cremation.
Mr. Zachow, who was born in Spokane, died Sunday.
He was a veteran of the Korean War and spent many years in the Army Reserves.
Mr. Zachow worked for the the Spokane Parks Department for 40 years as a plumber.
He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Vivian; a daughter, Yvonne Rains of Cheney; two sisters, Charlotte Carver of Spokane and Marilyn Hendricks of Billings, Mont., and a grandson.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
Stanley Kreshel Spokane
A memorial gathering for Stanley J. Kreshel, 80, will be from 1 to 4 p.m. Saturday at 5003 S. Park Lane. Thornhill Valley Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
Mr. Kreshel, who died Monday, was born in Valleyford.
He graduated in 1949 from Gonzaga Law School.
Mr. Kreshel owned and operated Ash Street Floor for many years.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 49 years, Bonnie Kreshel.
Survivors include two sons, James and Gregory Kreshel; a brother, Porter Kreshel; a sister, Lucille Haskins; two grandsons and one great-grandson.

Mabel Euell Spokane
Memorial service for Mabel Gladys Euell, 72, will be at 3 p.m. today at Hazen and Jaeger Funeral Home. Inurnment will be at a later date in Tigard, Ore.
Mrs. Euell, who died Tuesday, was born in Osage, Minn.
She worked with Goodwill Industries in Spokane and was a cook in various restaurants.
Mrs. Euell spent most of her life in Spokane and moved to Newburg, Ore., three years ago. She recently moved back to Spokane.
She is survived by her husband, Alvin Euell of Gig Harbor, Wash.; five daughters, Marie Kelling of Twin Lakes, Idaho, Sue Kalar of Sumner, Wash., Georgia Strang of Calgary, Alberta, Lillie Candler of Mead and Pam Miller of Tigard; three sons, Bob Clark and Don Hill, both of Spokane, and Guy Hill of Nine Mile Falls; a sister, Lorina Knight of Dryden, Wash.; three brothers, Raymond Schober of Wenatchee, Leon Schober of Alaska and John Schober of St. Regis, Mont.; 24 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

Marguerite Killian Priest River, Idaho
Visitation for Marguerite Marie Killian, 81, will be from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. today and Friday at Sherman-Knapp Funeral Home in Newport, Wash. Graveside service will be at 10 a.m. Monday at the Evergreen Cemetery in Priest River.
Mrs. Killian, a lifetime Priest River resident, died Tuesday.
She graduated from Priest River High School.
In 1948 she married James Killian.
Mrs. Killian worked for the E.C. Olson Lumber and later for Diamond Lumber. She retired as office manager.
She was a member of the Priest River Community Congregational Church.
Her husband died in 1972.
Survivors include a nephew, Fred Lartz of Priest River, and a niece, Jean Williams of Spokane.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Priest River Community Congregational Church or the Priest River Senior Citizen Center.
Donnie Berryman Cheyenne, Wyo.
Visitation for Donnie Lee Berryman, 30, will be from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. today at Wiederspahn-Radomsky Chapel of the Chimes in Cheyenne. Graveside service will be at 1:30 p.m. Friday at Rugged Cross Chapel in Cheyenne Memorial Gardens.
Mr. Berryman, who was born in Spokane, died Monday from pneumonia.
He moved to Cheyenne in 1995 and worked in the laundry department at United Medical Center.
He is survived by his mother, Alice Berryman of Cheyenne; three brothers, Darrin Berryman of Tacoma, Forrest Berryman of Seattle and Travis Ault of Spokane; three sisters, Karen Berryman of Missoula, and Shan Berryman and Nicole Ault, both of Spokane; and his grandmothers, Fern Ackerson of Colorado Springs and Jennie Trollope of Cheyenne.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Shriners Hospital for Children.
Marion Scurto Spokane
Vigil service for Marion G. Scurto, 86, will be at 7 p.m. Friday at St. Ann Catholic Church. Funeral Mass is planned for 11 a.m. Saturday at the church. Burial will follow at Greenwood Memorial Terrace. Hennessey-Smith Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
Mrs. Scurto, a 10-year Spokane resident, died Oct. 16.
She was born in Leavenworth, Kan.
Mrs. Scurto worked in a department store in retail sales.
She was a member of St. Ann Catholic Church, the Washington Environmental Council, the Citizens for Clean Air and Sacred Heart of Jesus.
Survivors include two daughters, Frances Temple of Bullhead City, Ariz., and Bonnie Mager of Cheney; a sister, Frances Hildenbrand of Vancouver, Wash., and three grandchildren.

Ray Stark Spokane
Memorial service for Ray W. Stark will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday at St. Mark’s Lutheran Church. Ball and Dodd Funeral Home-South is in charge of the arrangements.
Mr. Stark, 80, died Friday.
He served in the Air Force and worked in air photography.
Mr. Stark moved to Spokane in 1950 from San Diego and worked in the roofing industry.
He had worked for Krueger Sheet Metal, Spokane Roofing and Spokane School District 81 for 13 years until his retirement in 1972.
He was a member of St. Mark’s Lutheran Church, Independent Order of Odd Fellows Court Empire and the Roofers Local No. 189.
Mr. Stark is survived by a daughter, Peggy Dubois of Northridge, Calif.; two sons, Daniel Stark of Spokane and Ron Stark of Deer Park; two brothers; five sisters; seven grandchildren and one great-granddaughter.

Justin Ables Spokane
Vigil service for Justin Wayne Ables, a student at Gonzaga Prep High School, will be at 7:30 p.m. today at St. Aloysius Catholic Church. Funeral Mass will be at 1 p.m. Friday at the church. Mr. Ables, 17, died Saturday.
He was born in Spokane and had attended Jefferson Grade School and Sacajawea Middle School.
Mr. Ables was a member of Jazz Connection, Drama Club and the Symphonic Choir at Gonzaga Prep.
Survivors include his parents, Jeffrey and Cheryl Ables of Spokane; a brother, Tyler Ables and a sister, Marissa Ables, both of Spokane; and his grandmother, Rose Ables of Spokane.
Memorial contributions may be made to Gonzaga Prep Scholarship Fund or Gonzaga Prep Jazz Connections.
Daniel DeWitt Spokane
Memorial service for Daniel L. DeWitt, 39, is set for 1 p.m. Friday at Hazen and Jaeger Funeral Home.
Mr. DeWitt died Sunday from complications associated with diabetes.
He was a lifetime resident of Spokane and worked as a cook in several local restaurants.
Survivors include his father, Dale DeWitt of Spokane; his mother, Virginia Binns of Spokane; a sister, Laurel Christie of Diamond Lake, and his grandmother, Helen Phillips of Spokane.

Richard Caldwell Newman Lake
Memorial service for Richard N. Caldwell, 67, will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Heritage Congregational Church. Thornhill Valley Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
Mr. Caldwell, 67, died Sunday.
He was born in Boise and graduated in 1947 from Otis Orchards High School.
He served in the Navy submarine service from 1947 to 1957, then was in the Naval Reserves from 1957 to 1961, achieving the rank of chief petty officer.
Mr. Caldwell was an air traffic controller from 1957 to 1970 at Fairchild Air Force Base and from 1971 to 1974 worked in student transportation for the East Valley School District. He was regional coordinator for East Valley School District.
Mr. Caldwell was a member of Concordia Masonic Lodge 249, Lakeside Masonic Lodge 42 in Sandpoint, Magnolia Chapter of the Order of the Eastern Star, El Katif Shrine, Scottish Rite, White Shrine of Jerusalem, Heritage Congregational Church and Opportunity Presbyterian Church.
He is survived by his wife, Maxine; two sons, Joseph Caldwell of Veradale and Richard Caldwell of Winston-Salem, N.C.; two sisters, Mary Rafferty and Dona Nielsen; a brother, Robert Caldwell and two grandsons.

Stanley Sweeting Spokane
Memorial service for Stanley Arnim Sweeting, 72, will be at 4 p.m. today at the Union Gospel Mission. Ball and Dodd Funeral Home-South is in charge of the arrangements.
Mr. Sweeting, who was born in Miami, died Monday.
He graduated from high school in Miami and served in the Navy during World War II on the Midway. He later served in the Army Air Force in Miami and Alaska.
He was involved in the construction industry as a construction superintendent.
Mr. Sweeting built wooden toys in his garage for children at Christmas time.
He was a member of the Carpenters Union Local 98.
Survivors include his wife of 50 years, Mary; a daughter, Andie Keller of Spokane; and a sister, Pat Sunderland of Ocala, Fla.
