Associated Press

Pac-10

Rodney Sermons scored a pair of first-half touchdowns and Southern California barely survived a late Oregon comeback Saturday night as the Trojans (4-3, 2-2 Pac-10) downed the Ducks (4-4, 1-4) 24-22 at Los Angeles.

Oregon’s Joshua Smith was short on a 36-yard field-goal attempt with three seconds remaining.
