Hunting Guide Dies In Accident

Hunting guide John D. Ivie, 32, of Orofino was killed in a hunting accident in the Gold Butte area five miles northeast of Elk River.

Clearwater County Sheriff Nick Albers said Wednesday his office was notified of the incident Tuesday afternoon.

He said Ivie apparently was on a hunting trip with two other men. No other details were available. The sheriff said he will continue his investigation. , DataTimes
