North Spokane Bank Robbed
A man wielding a handgun robbed a north Spokane bank Thursday afternoon.
Police said the man walked into the Wells Fargo Bank, 7404 N. Division, about 4:30 p.m., displayed a gun and demanded money from a teller. No one was injured.
The man escaped in a dark blue mini-van and is described as 6 feet tall with a slim build. He wore quilted yellow overalls and black boots, police said.
Police would not say if the robbery was connected to gun shots fired about 90 minutes earlier at two bank branches in the Shadle Center at Wellesley and Alberta.
