Shaken Baby Remains In Critical Condition

A 2-month-old Spokane Valley baby remained in critical condition Friday after suffering possible brain damage from being shaken, police said.

The baby’s 16-year-old mother told police the girl was assaulted.

The mother said she left the baby with several people over the last few days while she was at work.

Police are investigating the abuse and have made no arrests.

The baby, diagnosed as suffering from shaken baby syndrome, was taken to a local hospital Thursday, police said. , DataTimes
