ANALYSIS

The Seahawks’ advertising campaign, “It’s a whole new ballgame,” was apropos last week. It was a new ballgame - for the Jets. Good news: Seattle can’t possibly play as poorly and Denver can’t possibly play as perfectly as the Jets did a week ago. Bad news: The Broncos don’t need to, since they’re probably the best team in the AFC. Ugly news: Perhaps in response to anti-snot activists, the Broncos changed their helmet logo from a mucus-discharging horse to one that looks like it has a football lodged in its jowls. But clothes don’t make the man, er, team. Denver is loaded with talent, despite uniforms on loan from the USFL. Seahawks will be more competitive, but 0-2.
