Inmate Escapes From Geiger Facility

A 30-year-old Spokane man escaped from Geiger Corrections Center early Sunday morning, according to corrections officials.

Gary D. Richey was serving a one-year term for breaking his probation on a third-degree assault charge.

Richey escaped sometime between 7 p.m. Saturday and 12:45 a.m. Sunday, when he was found missing during a head count.
