Spokane County Hearing Examiner

Hearing examiner Mike Dempsey at 9 a.m. will consider a request to allow construction of ministorage units at 15007 E. Trent, on land not now zoned for that purpose. At 10:30 a.m., Dempsey will consider a request to build a garage closer to Liberty Drive than the county’s zoning code allows. Dempsey at 1:30 p.m. will consider another request to build ministorage units, at 17717 E. Appleway.

Spokane City Plan Commission

The commission will meet with representatives from the neighborhood councils about how to increase communications between the two groups. The commission also will hear an update from Spokane Horizons members about their program toward the comprehensive land-use plan.
