Walton Picks Arizona

Luke Walton, son of former UCLA and NBA great Bill Walton, has committed to play basketball for defending champion Arizona.

Walton, a 6-foot-8, 200-pound forward, attended San Diego University High School and is highly rated by recruiting services.

The Kansas Jayhawks will honor their 100th year of basketball with a season-long celebration.

Many things are still in the planning stage, but the Jayhawks will have a new logo noting the 100 years of basketball, and they expect up to 300 former players and coaches to be on hand for a reunion weekend Feb. 7-8.
