Spiritual Renewal Topic Of Event At Audubon United Methodist

Evangelists Jon and Mischelle Cortese of Wind in the Spirit Ministries will be at Audubon United Methodist Church Friday through Sunday for a special event on spiritual renewal. Topics will include “Dimensions in Worship,” “Spiritual Gifts,” and “The Power of Forgiveness.”

The event begins at 5:30 p.m. Friday with a potluck dinner. Child care will be provided for the seminar. Cost is $10.

‘Broken Vows’ at St. Paul’s

St. Paul Lutheran Church, 2159 N. Hamilton, will show “Broken Vows,” a film about the church’s response to domestic violence, during two sessions. The first session will be from 10 a.m. to noon on Saturday and the second from 10 a.m. to noon on Oct. 4.

Free concert

Vocalist and songwriter Lynice Evans will be appearing in concert at 6:30 p.m. Saturday at the Central Seventh-day Adventist Church, 828 W. Spofford Ave. The concert is free and all are invited to attend.
