Hints From Heloise

King Features Syndicate

Dear Heloise: We go to lots of church dinners and family reunions and take food to shut-ins.

I always use my address labels on bowls, silverware or whatever I take. It saves time when there are so many bowls the same size. You are sure to get your own containers. - Faye Nutgrass, Stanford, Ky.

Dear Heloise: My husband is a contractor who sells a product that is painted and installed in clients’ homes.

He gives them extra touch-up paint in a plastic jar with a screw-on lid (a peanut-butter jar is the usual). It doesn’t rust or break and you can see what color paint is inside. - Kris Saiger, Huntington Beach, Calif.
