Washington Idaho Symphony At Pullman

The Washington Idaho Symphony will present its sixth concert of the season at 8 p.m. Saturday at the Gladish Auditorium in Pullman and again at 3 p.m. Sunday at Lewiston High School in Lewiston.

The concert will feature guest cellist Linda Wharton performing the Concerto for Cello in A minor by Camille Saint-Saens, and Hector Berlioz’s “Fantastic Symphony.”

Also appearing will be Encore, a performance group of Palouse Suzuki string students. They will perform the finale of Bach’s Double Concerto for violins and orchestra. Encore students, ranging in age from 10 to 16, study at the most advanced levels of the Suzuki Method literature.

A cello choir of students from the Palouse will perform “The Swan,” from Saint-Saens’ “Carnival of the Animals.”

TICKET INFORMATION General admission tickets are $10 and will be available at the door. One child will be admitted free with each paying adult.
