Fbi Suspects Robber Struck Again

From Staff

A man the FBI believes is the robber of two Spokane banks this year may have struck again on Monday, police said.

The man walked into Wells Fargo Bank, 6228 N. Monroe, about 3 p.m. and asked to make a withdrawal.

With a handgun in his jacket, the man moved behind the teller counter and took money from two drawers, police said.

The robber escaped on foot south on Monroe, police said.

The man is believed to have robbed the Farmers and Merchants Bank, 3002 Southeast Blvd., on Feb. 27 and the Horizon Credit Union, 201 N. Mullan Road, on March 10.

He is described as white, in his mid-30s, 6 feet tall, 180 to 190 pounds with reddish-blond hair and a thin mustache. He wore a black jacket, denim shirt and black jeans.

Anyone with information about any of these robberies should call Crime Check at 456-2233.
