Artwork Stolen From Mcq’S

Someone swiped $3,150 in artwork from the office at McQ’s Billiards, including a Picasso print of the Madonna holding a baby.

The artwork was stolen sometime last week, while the owner was away, sheriff’s deputies said.

Besides the prints, the only other item missing was a $200 stereo. Entry into the building at 9614 E. Sprague did not appear forced, deputies said.

No arrests have been made.

Missing items include the $2,000 Picasso print and a $1,000 “Pie in the Sky” print, showing a little fat boy and a dog looking at a pie in the sky.

Also missing was a $150 print of a man in a recliner.
