Levi Mattoon Earns Eagle Scout Rank
Levi Mattoon, a member of Boy Scout Troop 422, has earned the rank of Eagle Scout.
For his service project, Mattoon created a softball diamond on the recreation field at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints’ Foothills Chapel.
Mattoon is a senior at East Valley High School and a Running Start student at Spokane Falls Community College.

Army Reserve Pvt. Trevor Keetch is the son of David Keetch, Spokane, and Gayle Gehrke, Veradale.
Army Pvt. Joseph Fica is the son of Sheila Fuson and Matthew Fica, both of Spokane.
Army National Guard Pvt. Brent Clancy is the son of James Clancy, Spokane, and Sandra Felsman, Ketchikan, Alaska.
Army National Guard Pvt. Lindsay Walters is the daughter of Jerry and Patricia Kirchmeier, Spokane.
Army Pvts. Patrick O’Donnell and Joshua Gibson recently graduated from One Station Unit Training at Fort Knox, Ky.
O’Donnell is the son of Timothy and Yong O’Donnell, Spokane.
Gibson is the son of Debra Gibson, Newport, and Richard Gibson, Spokane.
Elizabeth Helmer, Spokane, graduated with a bachelor of arts degree from Indiana University-Bloomington.
Naomi Hall received a bachelor of science degree in nursing from Colleges and Universities of New York, Albany.
She is also a graduate of Deaconess School of Nursing and Cheney High School.
Hall is the daughter of Curtis and Anita Messex, Cheney.
Tyson Marsh, a former Gonzaga Prep student, is a member of the University of Washington’s Student Senate. He is a sophomore majoring in material engineering.
He is the son of Ted and Diane Marsh, Spokane.
