Town Square Hearing Monday

From Staff

A public hearing on a proposal to create a town square will be conducted Monday night from 6:30 to 7:15 in City Hall.

Organizers of the Town Square project suggest raising money through grants and donations for such amenities as a fountain, a parking garage or farmers’ market, a German bake house and a community bandstand in the area around the new city hall.

The meeting Monday will be the last designed to gather public comment on the proposal.

Ideas and comments can be submitted to Jerry Basler at the Planning Department at 408 Spokane St.
