Mccroskey Keeps Streak Alive

Defending Fever Four champ John McCroskey won for the third time in as many races Sunday at Spokane Raceway Park.

Mike Hall made it two wins in three weeks in Hobby Stocks and former late model champ Billy Swift won in Street Stocks.

SRP’s drag racing program saw Steve Schlepp ended Dave Viall’s two-race Super Pro streak, while Tom Manfred did the same to John Lanz in Pro Eliminator. Brandon Traynham was a first-time winner in Street Eliminator.

Defending Street Stock champion Randy Lasswell began defense of his title by winning his first race of the season Saturday night at Stateline Speedway.

Mike Evans picked up his second win in as many weeks taking the victory in Fever Four Hobbies. Rob Vest and Brian Saling were first-time winners in their Hobby Stock and Compact Street classes, respectively.

At Yakima Speedway on Saturday night, Pete Harding stopped the two-race win streak of Gary Lewis in the Raybestos NASCAR Northwest Series.
