Outstanding Warrants

Kootenai County has a backlog of 4,000 outstanding arrest warrants. Officials are asking the public for any information about the following people, who are identified by name, age, last known city of residence, the charge and the bond amount on the warrant. Felonies

Samuel T. Asta 38, Coeur d’Alene, nonsufficient funds checks (three counts), $500 bond.

Tommy W. Duran 48, Coeur d’Alene, lewd conduct with a minor under 16, $10,000 bond.

William J. Peterson 41, Bayview, rape, contempt/frequenting a place where drugs are used, $100,132 bond.

Mark J. Szychulda 37, Bend, Ore., failure to appear, non-sufficient funds check (three counts), issuing an account closed check, $25,000 bond.

John W. Trotter 27, Coeur d’Alene, unlawful possession of a firearm, $5,000 bond.

James C. Badger 22, Greenacres, Wash., contempt/driving while suspended, possession of drug paraphernalia, $2,088 bond.

Michael W. Baril 19, Coeur d’Alene, contempt/minor in possession of tobacco, $151 bond.

Loren L. Brown 36, Plummer, contempt/driving under the influence, $568 bond.

Larry G. Ernest 47, Spokane, contempt/disturbing the peace, $284 bond.

Clayton D. Fry 26, Post Falls, contempt/frequenting a place of drug use, $373 bond.

Jeffrey C. Jones 38, Coeur d’Alene, contempt/invalid driver’s license, fictitious display of plates, $473 bond.

Alex L. Lafountain 27, Post Falls, contempt/theft by possession of stolen property, $243 bond.

Mark A. Obinger 37, Spirit Lake, contempt/ unlawful entry, petty theft, driving while suspended, inattentive driving, $2,393 bond.

Kimberly A. Rexford 31, Spokane, contempt/driving while suspended, $68 bond.

Gary K. Stensland 30, Missoula, contempt/no driver’s license, $73 bond.

Ronald L. Strand 48, Spokane, contempt/driving under the influence, negligent boating, failure to appear/driving under the influence, $822 bond, two days in jail.

Steven L. Swaim 44, Coeur d’Alene, contempt/no driver’s license, $86 bond.
