Use Roads Sparingly During Water Line Work

From Staff

Water line replacement will delay traffic on three city streets beginning today.

Norm’s Utility Contractors will be replacing waterlines, installing additional fire hydrants and doing other related work on Syringa Avenue, portions of Homestead Avenue, and on Ninth Street.

Residents are being asked to park their vehicles off the street to make the work easier to complete. Driveways will be open from 7 a.m. to 9 a.m. and after 5 p.m.

Other hours the contractor may temporarily block driveways and limit traffic to one lane.

Emergency vehicles will be able to access the area at all hours.
