Babe Ruth, seen above in his early Boston Braves days - the folks in Beantown still cry foul - is not only the stuff of bad movies and tall tales. ESPN and HBO have made sure of that with two telling stories about one of the most intriguing athletes in history. Now, Mark McGwire of the St. Louis Cardinals, Sammy Sosa of the Chicago Cubs and the Seattle Mariners’ own Ken Griffey Jr. are looking to put him even further behind in the hallowed homer derby.
