Howard E. and Rose Carman, Spokane, will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary with an open house from 3 to 7 p.m. Saturday at the Eagles Lodge.

Hosts for the event will be their children and spouses: Nancy and Bill Hefling, Donna and David Kellum, Linda and Allen Rogers, Patty and George Dinges, and Dennis and Sandy Carman, all of Spokane.

The Carmans were married Nov. 23, 1948, in Spokane. They have 19 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
