Norman C. And Joyce Shaffer Spokane

Norman C. and Joyce (Hammond) Shaffer, Spokane, will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary with a family gathering on Saturday.

Hosts for the event will be their children, Stephen N. Shaffer, Linda J. Sneva, and Cathy and Frank Trowbridge, all of Spokane.

The Shaffers were married Aug. 24, 1948, in Coeur d’Alene. They have 10 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
