George and Marjorie (Striebich) Rell, Spokane, celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary with a dinner and gathering at Thudpucker’s Restaurant on Aug. 1.

Hosts for the event were their son and daughter-in-law, Joel and Carol Rell, Spokane; and their grandchildren Heather and Robert Jordan, and Darin and Rachelle Rell, all of Spokane.

The Rells were married Aug. 2, 1948, in Uniontown, Wash.
