Jackson and Phyllis Berger Jr., Post Falls, celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary Aug. 15 with a reception at the residence of their daughter.

Hosts for the event included their children and spouses: Jack Berger III and David Berger, both of Post Falls; Carla and John Phillips, both of Spokane; and Robert Berger, Walla Walla.

The Bergers were married Aug. 27, 1948, in Spokane. They have seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
