Stern Not Just A Voice

For Howard Stern, the move from radio to television was simple. Just take the taped radio segments, add some graphic images of lap dancers and doctored footage of President Clinton, and voila, “The Howard Stern Radio Show,” televised. The shock jock’s attempt to unseat “Saturday Night Live” premiered on several CBS stations over the weekend. It was a startling shove to the boundaries of broadcast TV, particularly for staid CBS.
