‘Nypd Blue’ Starts Oct. 20
Fans of “NYPD Blue” are, as usual, going to have to show some patience.
The popular ABC series, “NYPD Blue” won’t start up its fall slate of shows until Oct. 20, the network has announced.
Every year it’s the same thing. The reason, according to ABC, is simply that the show’s on a later production schedule than most others.
That way, too, the show doesn’t run into any baseball-playoffs opposition or interruptions.
Homes with TV: By the end of August, there will be nearly 100 million U.S. homes with televisions, according to the latest figures from Nielsen.
Starting Aug. 31, the ratings company’s working count will be 99.4 million, up from the current 98 million. Nielsen updates the households estimate each summer.
