Transportation Options To Be Displayed

The Idaho Transportation Department is looking for citizens’ comments on its 20-year plan for North Idaho.

The Transportation Department is having an informational open house Sept. 2 between 4:30 and 6 p.m. People will be able to learn about the present road and transportation system in Kootenai County.

Exhibits will depict how the area’s road network would look in 20 years without improvements as well as options for changing the system.

J-U-B Engineers, the consultant developing a computer transportation model for the area, will be available to answer questions and record comments from the public.

The meeting will be at the Transportation District Office, 600 W. Prairie Ave.
