Elmer And Dorie Hewson Spokane

Elmer and Dorie Hewson, Spokane, will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary with a reception from 1 to 4 p.m. Saturday at Emmanuel Lutheran Church.

Hosts for the event will be their children and spouses: Kathleen Thompson and Bob Bower, Susan and Charlie Rice, and Rick and Joan Hewson, all of Spokane.

The Hewsons were married Sept. 5, 1948, in Spokane. They have eight grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
