Ethan and Millie Williams, Spokane, celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary Aug. 22 with a reception at their daughter’s residence.

Hosts for the event included their children and spouses: Craig and Betsy Williams, Valorie Chadwick, Aleta and Steve Ostlie, and Blaine and Robbin Williams, all of Spokane; and Yvonne Williams, New York.

The Williamses were married Aug. 28, 1948, in Soap Lake, Wash. They have 13 grandchildren.
