Tom and Marie Akren, Post Falls, celebrated their 25th wedding anniversary Aug. 18 with a gathering at the residence of their daughter and son-in-law, Judy and Dewey Berndt, in Post Falls.

The Akrens were married Aug. 18, 1973, in Long Beach, Calif. They have seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
