Three Rob Deaf Man In Spokane

Using sign language, a deaf and mute man told Spokane Police he was robbed by three men on Saturday night near the Top Hat Tavern on North Division.

The three men stopped the victim in a secluded area after he left the Top Hat Tavern around 9 p.m., he said. One of the men put a knife to the victim’s throat, the victim said, and the three fled after taking some money.

The man was not injured. He described his attackers as two white men and one Hispanic man between the ages of 17 and 24. H said the Hispanic man had shoulder-length hair, and one of the white men had a long ponytail.
