Eric Peterson, pastor of Colbert Presbyterian Church (meets at the Mt. Spokane-Mead High School, 6015 E. Mt. Spokane Park Drive).

Background: Peterson, 34, was ordained in 1990 after attending Princeton Theological Seminary in New Jersey.

He spent his first seven years of ministry as the associate for pastoral care and healing at Marine View Presbyterian Church in Tacoma.

He arrived in Spokane in 1997 to help organize Colbert Presbyterian, a daughter church of Whitworth Presbyterian. The church was chartered in November 1997.

Personal: Peterson and his wife, Lynn, have been married for 12 years. They have three children: 10-year-old Andrew, 7-year-old Lindsay and 5-year-old Sadie.
