Ray and Marie Brown, Spokane, celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary Nov. 28 with a reception at the Glover Mansion.

Hosts for the event were their children and spouses: Cindy and Harlen Rasmussen, Chattaroy; Tim Brown, Nine Mile Falls; Dan and Thelma Brown, Los Angeles; and Becky Buchanan, New York City.

The Browns were married Nov. 20, 1948, in Spokane. They have six grandchildren.
