Spotlight: Christmas Walks

Enjoy the fringe benefits of the season by participating in special walks tonight and Saturday night.

Tonight is the Candy Cane Crawl downtown. View Christmas lights and displays while distributing candy canes to apartments. Meet at City Hall at 7. It’ll take about 2 hours. Fee is $9.

Saturday it’s the Christmas Lights ‘98 Volkswalk, a 10K event from 4-6 p.m. starting at St. David’s Episcopal Church, 7315 N. Wall. Finish by 8. Volkswalkers can get credit for $2, but free walkers are encouraged to participate.
