Parish nurse class

Registered nurses interested in becoming parish nurses are invited to the Basic Parish Nurse class Jan. 8-12 at the Immaculate Heart Retreat House, 6910 S. Ben Burr Road.

Classes will prepare nurses to develop a parish nurse practice.

There is no registration deadline. Cost: $300, includes four nights lodging, meals and class materials.

Nightwalk

Youth groups are invited to join Nightwalk Ministries for Christmas caroling downtown from 7 to 9:30 p.m. on Dec. 20.

Carolers will start and finish at Westminster Congregational United Church of Christ, 411 S. Washington. They will carol in low-rent hotels, restaurants, bars and other downtown locations. RSVP by calling 624-5156.

Concerts

Harpist Leslie Stratton Norris will perform in concert at 6 p.m. Sunday at the Coeur d’Alene Bible Church, 5350 N. Fourth.

The Coeur d’Alene musician performs frequently around the country and has released several recordings. Admission is free.

A “Country Christmas” will be performed by guitarist Dennis Agajanian at 3 and 7 p.m. Sunday at the Calvary Chapel of Spokane, 511 W. Hastings Road.

Admission is free, but tickets are required. Tickets may be picked up at the church before and after the 9 and 11 a.m. Sunday services.
