Man Sought For Death Threat In Store Robbery
Police are looking for a man who threatened to kill a north Spokane convenience store clerk during a robbery last week.
The intruder walked into the Qwik Stop, in the 2500 block of Northwest Boulevard, at 10:30 p.m. Wednesday. He pointed a pistol at the clerk and demanded she open the register, police said.
When the clerk backed away, the robber cocked the gun and screamed that he was going to kill the woman. He took some cash and ran from the store.
With the help of the clerk, police artists produced a sketch of the thief. He is white, 5 feet 7 to 5 feet 9 inches tall, thin and nervous. Anyone with information about him is asked to call Crime Check at 456-2233.
