Man Arrested On Burglary Counts
Anthony R. Cattage is being held on a $20,000 bond in the Spokane County Jail on two counts of residential burglary.
Cattage has 25 convictions for assault, theft, burglary and trespass.
Police suspect he may have committed other crimes and are asking anyone who has seen Cattage near their home to call Crime Check at 456-2233.
Cattage, 27, is black, 5-foot-5, 140 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes.
He was arrested Tuesday afternoon after a homeowner in the 4200 block of East 43rd Ave. told police a man walked into her house. The man left after asking the homeowner if anyone named Tompkins lived there, police said.
Police responded to a similar complaint nearby. This time, the man walked into a garage and asked to use a bathroom.
Cattage was arrested near East 42nd and Scott after witnesses identified him as the intruder, police said.
