Ccs Women Win, Draw Everett For Third Time

Nicole Kleopfer totaled eight assists, five rebounds and four steals on Thursday as the Community Colleges of Spokane women defeated Mt. Hood CC 74-60 in an opener at the Yakima Crossover basketball tournament.

Kleopfer, Jen Clark and Amy George scored 14 points apiece for the Sasquatch (6-1).

CCS plays at 6 tonight against Everett, which edged Lower Columbia 67-66 in its opener. Everett defeated CCS two weeks ago at the Everett Classic. The Sasquatch defeated Everett in late November.
