Lisa Donald warms up with other applicants Thursday in Minneapolis’ Metrodome during the first tryout for the Minnesota Vixens, a new women’s professional football team. Nearly 50 women showed up for the strenuous event. The Vixens are scheduled to play their first exhibition game against the Lake Michigan Minx in the fall of 1999.
