Jennifer J. Biel exchanged wedding vows with Scot A. Bates in a June 19 ceremony at Spokane Friends Church.

The bride is the daughter of Kent and LaVerne Biel, Spokane. The bridegroom is the son of Terry and Susan Bates, Gun Barrel City, Texas; and Jimmie Bates, Fort Worth, Texas.

A reception was at The Ridpath Hotel. The Bates are living in Fort Worth after a Caribbean cruise honeymoon.
